California Art
A major figure in the postwar California art scene, Wallace Berman was also involved in the jazz scene, and created album covers for Charlie Parker. In 1963, he began creating his well-known Verifax Collages, which are made of photocopies from magazines and newspapers and acrylic paint.
Pictured is one such artwork, Radio/Aether Series 1966/1974 (13 works), which he created in 1966.
